Press Start is a gaming company that required a highly complex website to cater to their diverse range of services. Their project manager was frustrated with the difficulty of finding developers who understood their vision and could work within their budget. Through several meetings with the project manager, we gained a deep understanding of their requirements. Press Start aimed to create a gaming community where community interaction was crucial. They wanted to offer the latest gaming news, reviews, walkthroughs, and more, necessitating a bespoke content management system that could efficiently handle the demanding process of gaming news dissemination. With the potential for hundreds of articles within weeks, the website needed to maintain fast loading speeds even with thousands of articles, reviews, and other content.

In addition to news articles, Press Start wanted to create their own RSS feed, allowing gamers to subscribe and receive notifications when new articles were published. They also produced a podcast and desired seamless integration of their latest episodes into the website. Furthermore, as they offered various videos, they needed a video management system, the ability to add videos to articles, and the capability to live stream directly on their website. Additionally, they wanted users to have multiple sign-in options, including Microsoft and Google accounts.

Though it was an extensive and intricate project, we enthusiastically took it on. The staff at Press Start were overjoyed with the final outcome of their new website and systems. They were amazed at how easily they could add content to their website, with just a few clicks enabling them to seamlessly add articles, videos, social posts, and more. Once the development phase was complete, Press Start transferred all their services, including web hosting, domain names, and emails, to G6 Designs.

We maintain a close working relationship with Press Start, continually enhancing their website. We are currently building an e-commerce system that will seamlessly integrate into the website, as well as expanding the community section to provide a more robust platform for like-minded gamers to connect and communicate. Additionally, we are developing a dedicated app for Press Start and working on other significant features that are currently confidential.
