A Micro Bakery Website

Luc's Micro Bakery approached G6 Designs to create an Ecommerce website enabling them to sell their bread online to local customers. However, as we delved into the project after extensive discussions with Luc, we realized that the website required a more intricate solution than simply facilitating online bread sales. Luc had specific requirements for a pickup service tailored to his varied market schedule. Since Luc attended different markets throughout the week, he wanted the collection service to be customized based on his location and the customers' desired pickup times. With Luc participating in five different markets over seven days, designing this collection system became a unique challenge that demanded a bespoke approach.

We gladly took on this project, as Luc sought our expertise due to his current website's inability to meet his requirements. Despite his efforts with the existing system, it fell short of the necessary capabilities. We assured Luc that he could rely on us to deliver the system he envisioned. During the course of the project, we discovered that Luc might not be present at the markets for an entire day. His schedule was time-based, meaning he could be there from 9 am to 1 pm, leave for a few hours, and return from 3 pm to 7 pm. This additional complexity meant we had to account for various locations, days, and specific timeframes. However, we were confident in our ability to address these challenges and fulfill Luc's needs. Furthermore, Luc wanted to showcase special, one-off markets he attended for specific events in the local area. We incorporated this feature into the website as well.

In addition to the bespoke pickup system and the inclusion of featured markets, we created a cutting-edge gallery to highlight Luc's bakery and showcase his talents. This visually appealing gallery aimed to attract customers and generate interest in Luc's products. Upon completion of the website, Luc was thrilled with the results and promptly purchased a customer care package from us. This ensured ongoing support, website management, and future upgrades. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Luc on this project and continue to maintain a strong working relationship with him and his bakery.
